I wrote a book on the leadership position a man have in his own household or should have rather for it is under severe threat these days. We also looked at what comes naturally with such a position. For instance what you as a man, is supposed to do to help your wife around the house. After all she is not your slave and with leadership comes huge responsibility. Note that our natural leadership position is not protected in law anymore and a bit more like a "submission" from the wife's part and hence she can recall it when she wishes. That makes it imperative for you not to abuse it but it is in the book.
From what my female friends tell me there seems to be a lack of good manners from men too. The opening of a car door is seen as weakness by both sexes and sure enough I had a case where my client's fingers got slammed in a door by the overeager suitor (who at least tried to do the right thing). Even the traditional right of a man to fix or break things himself is now left to an overpaid "handyman" and so the list continues. We even looked at romanticism after the marriage which also seemed to have been replaced with a more cynical attitude best left for the mistress. Of course that is nonsense, romance never stops between couples. It is like the cold always there.
And on that topic one reader asked me: "Why do I need to buy a fishing license but people can breed without one?" Well in fact, the law (via our mates the long haired liberals in parlement) has a lot to say about human breeding enterprises. We know that no means NO as it should be. We know that it is possible to rape your wife and most certainly mentally ill people are not allowed in the breeding process either. That one is based on a lack of consent - no consent means rape and some cannot consent because of their unfortunate condition. So the law is in the bedroom or your car's backseat if less cultured or broke or over eager or whatever.
It made me wonder though...what would happen if the long haired liberals and their fellow cockroaches (some say curse) called lawyers had to draft an Act for what is known in plain Afrikaans as a "stoot lisensie"... a common Afrikaans term to "make love or have intercourse license" for those not understanding the Afrikaans language.
I expect we will have two major problems - first the queues may be around the block twice or people would simply not bother to obtain this license. How do you enforce it anyway? I suppose by declaring any pregnancy treatment must be accompanied by a notarial certified copy of your "stoot lisensie!" In fourfold if you please and to waste your time even more, to be handed in at four different government departments simultaneously. So it would not work well. Us colonials not being Irish, we simply cannot be at more places than one at the same time.
Seriously, there is a similar duty on you in that you must declare your STD and Aids status before committing the Act. And I can tell you, if positive you better have a very good waiver ready to be signed after carefully explaining exactly what the consequences will be. Somehow I doubt that she will be interested in further proceedings. I also know that many, before marriage, tests for blood groups to see if it will affect children born from the forthcoming marriage and not being a medical man I have no idea what they look for. Obviously some culture then wants a certificate of virginity too. Yeah, complicated.
Then, can you imagine the taxation clauses in our "stoot lisensie wet?" So tell us Mr Citizen, how many inches were used during the event? How long did it last? What position did you assume etc? Sure they will find a way to make it boring if not downright expensive. I can just visualise a clever IT guy linking your recent purchases at the pharmacy or clinic in size and quantity to crosscheck if your reporting on your tax form is accurate! So perhaps it is good that nature (for once and within acceptable rules) takes it's course without further long haired liberal interference. Be happy men and treat your wife as if she is the nearest and dearest in your life. Be romantic lads - get stuck in!
The wise men say when you fall of a horse you need to find one and get on again. With me it is writing - easy to do and no big deal - life goes on even in tragedy. It is also to me the same Biblical principle as "throwing your bread on the water" and see what comes back. All my ramblings are designed and written to help people and not about money though I could certainly do with clients for JKLS at this stage. Therefore I am sure God will reveal the next road in due course and take me where I need to be. The world is open and who wants a boring life anyway.
When a reader introduced her organisation to me I realised that that old long haired liberal songwriter Bob Dylan had a good point when he wrote "Blowin in The Wind" back in the 1960's:
"Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind."
Which brings me to my point - how many times can we ignore signs of abuse amongst children or spouses? Now we saw it during our police days...I was there when that paedophile van rooyen killed himself and his common law wife, leaving us wondering what was going on and explaining to the duty officer that we did not shoot him. In any case, I wrote a short booklet on child and wife abuse which you can download and pass on as you please called Satan's Touch. Why that name? You know I flatly refuse to honour satan with as capital S and here I had to do so in the title...since I believe any fellow doing such things is evil and have to be from the wrong side of heaven. I had no other choice and Devil's Touch was taken. So I wrote the booklet to help stop this disease.
Nevertheless, as you also would know in my ramblings, the law is neutral. It cannot by its own jump up and defend the innocents - it has to be invoked. So unless the child or the abused one or someone (which means you) intervene and get the Act involved the abuse will continue. Hence the booklet is about the signs or patterns of abuse. Very much like that drug abuse booklet it will clearly tell you what to do and what to look for. It cannot be missed or mistaken for anything else.
You know we live in a world which is cruel to the weak. Many of us dedicated our lives in the forces to protect the weak and we still do in our own way. Go to The Pink Ladies Organisation for Missing Children and offer what assistance you can for it is a NGO and registered as a Section 21A company. They will have a brand new website soon and it is something to admire and every bit of help is needed. Do not turn your head again for the wind ma1y blow the evil into your own family.
I don't want to write about my books or the law as such today but to thank you all for your support during the last two weeks. I have no words really to describe how you gathered around. I got emails from readers across the world. People I had no idea even existed. Many of my friends, well each one who "liked" my comments or wrote me or called me (despite me shrugging you off - sorry - my natural reaction is always to step back in such circumstances) has me as a friend for life. Those who chose to ignore me will have a case to answer for one day - I denounce them totally and will soon delete them out of every online and real life account I have. Such people are not worthy the name of "friendship" and in some cases "family" - be gone I say. My door is closed. Note please I am not bitter about anything, not Melissa's call for higher duty or the wankers above. Is a matter of priorities and the famous saying in the Bible of dealing with swine with your pearls - it is just not worth it. So be gone I say and stay gone. I recognized you for what you are.
What was amazing is how people reached out to God during these times. We had prayers going from three continents and many messages of hope. I dreamed one night that the prayers looked like a cloud or steam rising to the heavens and it gave me much comfort. There were so many messages on facebook of love that I came to the conclusion that these stories we read all the time of nations turning against God may be long hair liberal newspaper rubbish. When the chips were down they all would revert back to something higher and more established than the silly day to day things which bothers them so much. Yeah, I took a long hard look at what is important to life and almost nothing or prior value remained. No doubt that my life has changed and I have only one desire which is to live according to the values and principles of my American Patriot. In fact have no other choice if I want to meet her again in Heaven.
I received many letter requesting that I write a short tribute to Melissa which I did. It is downloading a lot for which I am grateful but be warned, it is not easy reading nor was it easy to write and I will absolutely never write such a tribute again. The feedback is one of sadness but also of hope...that this is not the end for those who believe in a mighty God. That she reached many with her assertions in our books and that she will live in their memory forever. Such messages took me by surprise - I knew the books were downloading by the thousands (ask anyone who publish something and he can tell you immediately how many downloaded) but it seems they also helped a lot of people. And many liked Melissa or as she was then known, my American Patriot, a lot. I never published anything about her without her permission and I well remember her laughing and asking "K, did I really say that?" So what you read is what I got in real life even if for a too short time. Thank you for your kindness and human decency in these times - we appreciate it very much. God bless. K
